I took apart my Acer Aspire One to add an internal Bluetooth module.
Solution
You might be thinking where would you plug a Mini USB Bluetooth module inside the "Aspire One"? Well USB has 4 wires, 2 are for power and 2 are for data so where to get power? Ground wire is easy, but looking for +5v is not as easy. However I decided to get power from one of the USB ports as you can see below.
As for the data connection where would I hookup a USB device if the existing USB ports cannot be used? Well as part of the Mini PCIe interface it includes support for usb (Pins 36 & 38) this makes it possible to install the Bluetooth mod!
I used a soldering iron to fuse the wire to pin 36 & 38. As for the Bluetooth module it is sitting nicely in the corner of the Aspire One as you can see below.

There you have it, now you can use Bluetooth devices without having to have that bulky Bluetooth module taking up a USB port.
